Former Sparrow Records singer/songwriter Audrey Assad has released her brand new album Fortunate Fall independently today, August 13. This is the artist's third full-length studio album.

In her official newsletter sent out today, Assad's team writes "It's been a crazy spring and summer, and we're so happy to be releasing this record into the wild. We hope our labor in Christ blesses you with rest in Christ. We couldn't be more proud of this piece of liturgical art. Our prayer is that it is a companion for you on the road to Emmaus. We just wanted to send you a note to say THANK YOU for backing this record! And if you love it, please tell your friends. You are our only street team!

Also, to give you a little kickstart, rewards this week will go out to one person a day who tweets, facebooks, or instagrams the hashtag #fortunatefall!"

Rewards are:
Day 1 CD
Day 2 T-Shirt
Day 3 vinyl
Day 4 Moleskine (stamped)
Day 5 hand-drawn lyric art
Day 6 all of the above
Day 7 all of the above plus an iPod loaded with Audrey’s top ten favorite albums

And tonight, tune it to YouTube for a special recording session. Tonight at 6pm CST we're invited you to "be on set" while Audrey records performances of 3 new songs from Fortunate Fall. Tune in for some interaction with Audrey and to hear her performance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzoA1s-Z-fE
